Kayaking club

We have four hundred members and canoes and kayaks for our members in our bases in Mustikkamaa and Soutustadion.

During paddling season for members

• evening and sunday paddling from our bases
• weekend paddling to sea, training trips...
• long expeditions to Finland and to other countries
• training and information
• club contact person available every Tuesday between 5PM and 6PM during summer months in Soutustadion

Our main focus is touring and recretional paddling. We accept new members providing that they have participated paddling and rescue training or otherwise have good paddling skills. Club is based in voluntary work - everyone is doing his/her share.

Kayaks of the club are only available for members. For the others we offer paddling classes which is also a way to become member of the club.

We do not arrange paddling activities for non-members - for these services, please contact nearby event organizers and kayak rental compenies. We do not participate in competitions, either.

When the sea is frozen

• paddling in swimming hall (for members): rescue training, paddling skills, eskimo roll
• special theme evening, building gear, training

Heme is registered club established in 1993.
